- Location: Chateau on the Lake
- Event: After a delicious outdoor barbecue with live music, the Chateau on the Lake resort puts on an amazing fireworks show. Plus, you don’t have to stay at the resort to enjoy the celebration: simply rent a boat on Table Rock Lake and cruise over to watch the fireworks.
HONOR AMERICA ALL-AMERICAN BARBECUE

- Location: Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks
- Event: The Keeter Center is known for its scrumptious food and exceptional service. At the restaurant’s Honor America All-American Barbecue, your family will enjoy a gourmet dinner, activities for the children, and reserved seating for a fireworks display. Reservations are highly recommended, and the event costs $34.95 for adults and $13.95 for kids 6-12 years old (children below age 6 are free).
PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE FOR A FREE ICE CREAM
- Date: July 1, 4, 6, 14, 21, and 28 from 3:00 to 5:00pm
- Location: Nettie Marie’s Homemade Ice Cream at the Keeter Center
- Event: Also located at the Keeter Center, Nettie Marie’s Homemade Ice Cream will reward all kids ages 12 and under who can recite the Pledge of Allegiance by heart. What will they receive? A free scoop of cold, creamy, and delectable ice cream. On a warm summer day, what could be better? INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT BIG CEDAR LODGE

- Location: Big Cedar Lodge
- Event: Every year on the 4th of July, Big Cedar Lodge celebrates July 4th with food, fireworks, and lots of fun. There are games and activities for children on the lawn and a professional fireworks display with an all-American soundtrack. Again, even if you don’t have a room at the resort, you can enjoy the impressive fireworks show from the lake if you have a boat.
“IT” INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
- Date: July 2, 2016
- Location: Hughes Brothers Theatre
- Event: For a 4th of July that screams Branson, check out a live show like the Independence Day Celebration at the Hughes Brothers Theatre. The event will begin at 5:30pm with a picnic and family games. After that, at 7:00pm, you’ll enjoy a patriotic show featuring 50 amazingly talented performers. This event combines the best of America and Branson with good eats, good entertainment, and national pride.

- Location: Branson Landing
- Event: After enjoying the restaurants and shopping at Branson Landing, stick around for the ninth-annual Liberty Light Up Celebration. The event will begin at 8:00pm with the Journey tribute band Resurrection. After that, settle in for a beautifully choreographed firework show over Lake Taneycomo. Finally, Resurrection will hit the stage again for an encore.
TOP OF THE ROCK’S INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
- Date: July 4, 2016
- Location: Top of the Rock
- Event: Perhaps following a few rounds of golf at Top of the Rock, head to one of the resort’s fantastic restaurants for an Independence Day celebration. You’ll dine on delicious food while enjoying a view of Table Rock Lake. After, stick around for a spectacular fireworks show at dusk.
HOLLISTER 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION
- Date: July 4, 2016
- Location: Chad A. Fuqua Memorial Park in Hollister
- Event: A short drive from downtown Branson, Hollister hosts the oldest fireworks display in Taney County. In fact, this will be its 63rd year. The annual celebration is presented by the Hollister Fire Department at dusk in Chad A. Fuqua Park.
- Date: July 2, 2016
- Location: Near Kimberling City Bridge on Table Rock Lake
- Event: The 29th Annual Fireburst show in Kimberling will occur on Saturday after dark. The event can be viewed by car, boat, or foot, and you can expect over a thousand boats to stop by for the festivities. If you’re on foot, bring a chair to Indian Point near West Branson, and if you’re in a boat, be sure to arrive by dusk, when the fireworks show will begin.
ROCKAWAY BEACH 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION
- Date: July 4, 2016
- Location: Rockaway Beach
- Event: You could spend your whole day enjoying the festivities at Rockaway Beach. The celebration will begin at 11:00am with the Independence Parade. There will also be a bake sale, dachshund races, hot dogs, and a flyover by the National Guard. At dusk, head to the Ocean’s Edge Wayside or Rockaway Beach to grab a spot for the fireworks show.

- Location: Boarding at Branson Landing Marina
- Event: On the weekend of the 4th of July in Branson 2016, the Main Street Lake Queen (an 1880s paddlewheeler) and Landing Princess (a sleek yacht) will set sail for some local fireworks shows. On July 3, you can watch the Branson Landing fireworks display following the free concert by Resurrection. And on July 4, you can view the fireworks show at nearby Rockaway Beach. The cruises set sail at 8:45pm from Branson Landing Marina, south of Bass Pro, and reservations are required.
