4. Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area

Head to the west end of town and stretch your legs on 5.6 miles of Branson hiking trails at Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area. Hike the 3.4-mile Homesteaders Trail and travel past 14 informational stops showcasing the area’s natural features and history, including historic homes, waterfalls, and wide-open clearings.

5. Dogwood Canyon Nature Park

Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is the furthest hiking area from Branson, but it is certainly worth the extra drive! This 10,000-acre nature park is a hub for Ozark adventures, featuring hiking, biking, wildlife tours, horseback riding, and fishing.
